KIT CARE
Treat Stains Pre-Wash
Remove any tough grass, blood or food stains from your footbasll shirt before throwing it in the washing machine. Dampen the staind spot with cold watermand apply a pre-wash stain removal agent of your choice directly to the stain.
We like to use Fairy Liquid or Vanish
Seperate Colours For Washing
If you're wondering weather you should seperate football socks, shirts and shorts in the wash, the answer is definitely YES! Colours from other clothes can bleed in the washing cycle, so it's essential to seperate light and dark coloured items.
Another washing tip is not to mix your football shirts with other garments such as zippers and hooks. Clothing like jeans and zip up hoodies can pull on the polyester fibres of the football shirt. Small fivres from cotton clothing can also stick onto the heat-pressed logos and namesets, which will affect their look.
Turn Your Jersey Inside Out
Before placing your football shirt in the washing maching, turn it inside out to protect any patches, logos and stitching from any abrasions
Cold Water - Delicate Wash Cycle
Use cold water in your washing machine cycle to prevent your football shirt's decals from fading, shrinking or getting damaged by the heat.
Use Bleach-Free & Colour-safe Detergents
Wash your football shirts with a bleach-free & colour-safe detergent for the best results
Several liquid detergents contain ingredients that are harmful to football shirts.
HANG & AIR DRY
After the wash, turn your football shirt the right side out. DO NOT use a tumble dryer as high levels of heat may melt the decals, badges and name sets on your football shirt.
Instead, air dry your football shirts but keep out of direct sunlight and heat to help prolong it's life. If you want to be extra cearful, we sometimes cover our shirts with a thin peice of fabric when we air dry them outside, to prevent direct sunlight
